Ribbon Cutting, Christmas, and more!!

For some dumb reason today I can't move the pictures into a different order, and I usually can so I'll just explain as we go I guess!!

Butch sold some of his goats and CJ got some of the $money$ for her savings and she loved putting the money into her little bank! And when she was all done she was ticked because it was all gone:) That's how I feel when mine is gone too!

CJ got this little couch and some new books for Christmas and I caught this CUTE moment the other night! She is so dang cute!

These are the pictures from Vegas last weekend!! We had so much fun down there:) We stayed at the Orleans and went to the rodeo both nights that we were down there! Our group of friends are so much fun, we made lots of great memories!!

Yep I'm finally updating my blog! I'm very sorry to all of you that have seen the "Beaver Dam" post 174 times. Hopefully I will be better from now on. (Yeah right:)

Here are a few pictures from camping on Memorial Weekend.

It was so dang muddy and rainy the whole weekend, that was the first sign we shouldn't have been camping in the 1st place.

This is Dave running to jump on the log and do some surfing! He made it on a few times but I didn't get a picture of that!!

And for anyone who hasn't seen this! Danny's 4wheeler tipped over on him and he came back to camp all bloody!(This is the LEAST bloody pic I have) Poor kid had a helmet on and everything, The handle bars came through and did some damage. He broke his nose and the bone under his eye and his forehead collapsed into his sinus cavity! He had plates put in his forehead nose and under his eye. The surgeon took some awesome pictures of his face peeled off and you can see the hole in his forehead its pretty gross! But I will forward them to you if you want HA!

He is better now and you can't even tell he had it done, he looks just the same!

We are SO GLAD you are OK Danny!:)

At this years Relay For Life my niece Pazley donated her hair to Locks for Love!! And I got to cut it off:)

Here is right after the cut! The real haircut turned out really cute but I didn't get a pic of that for some reason!!

The band played during the night and Chezney got to get up and sang while her dad played the guitar! She did way good!

On the 4th of July we had a barbecue in the middle of the HOT day so we got a little pool and slip n slide for the kids. CJ loved the pool it was so funny!

Beaver Dam!!

It's been a few weeks ago but we went down and visited my dad at his trailer at Beaver Dam. It was so much fun and here are a few pictures!!

We went into Mesquite that night and had SO MUCH FUN!! I gambled and we watched the bands and had lots of yummy drinks, it was quite the night!! At the end of the night we were at the Virgin River waiting for Terri to come pick us up and Danny asked Butch if he thought that bush could hold him, and of course Butch said "Oh yea it will" so Danny got a running start and jumped right in it. And the whole thing just gave in! I was inside gambling away CJ's college fund (just kidding I came home with more $ than I went with) So i didn't see the whole thing in person, which is probably ok because I would have turned into the big sister and lectured him or something. So since I wasn't there it is HILARIOUS!! And luckily Lynzee videoed it so everyone can enjoy my brother's flight!! Some guy was walking by and told him "That was some nice bush jumping" !!!

A few weekends ago my mom, Aunt Rosalie, and my cousin Amberlee and her baby came to my house for a girls weekend. It was really fun to just hang out and play with the babies!

My mom is in the Red Hat Lady Society in Cedar and she brought up her hats so my aunt could borrow one and we thought we would wear them while we made some dinner:) Butch came home and thought we were total weirdos!

CJ is 6 months old now!! Time flies, but she just amazes me everyday. She rolls all around now and when she gets on her belly she does the superman and gets mad because she can't get anywhere so I'm sure she will be crawling soon.

Denise took some really cute pictures of her the other day and these are a few of my favorites. They all turned out so cute I don't know which ones to blow up!

Also I am going to put some pictures up from last weekend when My mom, aunt and cousin came. We had so much fun and took some cute pictures:)

Butch's sister Jeannie had her baby over the weekend!! Here is little Luke:)

He looks like a cutie. . . I wouldn't know from personal experience since I have been sick for like 5 days. I'm so ticked that I couldn't rush right down and hold that cute little baby, hopefully I will be better by the weekend so I can meet him. This picture is from a picture message she sent to my phone so it's a little blurry but I still had to post it! We are glad that everything went ok and they are both doing well, I'm sure Pazley and Eli are loving their new little brother.

So I have been stupid sick for a few days and I must say that I have such an awesome husband. He has been making his own dinners and cleaning and doing laundry, and taking very good care of me:) Thanks Butch I really appreciate it! He has also been taking care of CJ so she doesn't get all of my nasty germs. I would hate it if she got sick.

They went to visit Gpa Don and she got on her 1st horse. Butch said she grabbed a hold of its mane and tried to eat it. She got a bath.

Well I haven't blogged forever, even though we haven't been real busy! I should have plenty of time to blog but OH WELL!

Here are some too cute pictures of CJ! She is getting so big. She is 4 1/2 months old now. We went for her 4 month check up and shots (hate shots) and she weighs 15 pounds now! She is nice and healthy that's for sure. She is still such a good baby and laughs all the time. She has discovered how to squeal and likes to just lay on the floor and squeal all the time! It's dang cute but seriously LOUD:) She is starting to roll over now and then, I think she surprises herself when she does she just kind of looks around like what did I just do?! She is a really good sleeper and we feel so lucky to have such a good and happy baby! She must think that she better be good so someday we will do this all over again and she can have a brother or sister! HA!

She always has her arm over her bottle like this especially if she is tired, like she is protecting it so no one will take it away!

So cute, just out of the tub! She loves to lay on her changing table, it's like her happy place. If she is grumpy we come hang out in here.

She started eating "mush" a couple weeks ago and totally loves it.

Today Butch Turns 28, and I just wanted to say of course Happy Birthday and also I love and appreciate you so much. You do so much for CJ and I and work hard for our family. Gall Bladder Free!!

Well the surgery went really well and I got to go home at about 8 o'clock that night. I have felt pretty good for the most part. I had a raging headache for most of the day yesterday and I was pretty sore and tired. Butch and my mom have been taking VERY good care of me, I couldn't ask for more! Butch is his usual protective self making sure that I don't do too much and my mom has been so helpful cleaning and cooking and helping with CJ. I'm so lucky that I have a husband that is so good to me and my mom that is able to come and help us out too!! THANKS so much you two I love you so much and am so greatful:)

P.S. I'm getting my gall bladder out later today!! I can't believe I have to have another surgery!! 3 surgerys in 3 1/2 months, this better be it. I'm just glad to have it over with, I've been having problems with it since Thanksgiving. Nothing can be worse than the last experience so this should be a breeze:) My mom is coming down today and staying through the weekend and Butch doesn't have to work until Monday and I plan on going back to work on Wednesday! So many people have had theirs taken out so I'm not too worried!

CJ is 3 Months old now!!!!

That just blows me away!! Time flies and we are having so much fun. She is such a good baby and we just feel so lucky to have her in our lives!

Here she is getting ready to go out in the COLD. We can't wait for summer days:)

Stupid Real Tree

Here is our Fabulous Christmas Tree!!!! I love Christmas time and all the decorations and parties and spending time with families, but I absolutely hate real trees. They make the hugest mess when you bring them in and when you take them out. And I swear the tree changes on the ride home. It never looks good when I get it in our house. I just really want a fake PRE-LIT tree. But my husband says it's "Un-American" to have a fake tree, so here I am with the best Christmas tree Fish Lake had to offer! I will post some pictures of the 'after' later:)

Anyway I have been bad and haven't posted for awhile! I went back to work the week before Thanksgiving and that has been an adjustment for us. CJ goes to a great babysitter and I know that she is in good hands but I just miss whenever I have to go to work! It was bitter-sweet for me to go back because I missed it (I didn't think that I would) but I didn't want to leave CJ, but life goes on and I don't want to live in a cardboard box so I have to go try to earn some money! I'm only working 3 days a week so that isn't too bad and it's nice to get out and socialize!!

We had Thanksgiving at our house this year and it was great!! I didn't take any pictures because I didn't know where my camera was but it was a good time! My mom, Danny, Butch's mom and two sisters and niece came and that was just right. Butch deep fried the turkey and I wish I would have had the camera because it was quite the sight! My dad has done it a few times and he gave Butch some pointers the directions said 4 to 6 minutes per pound so we decided on 5 minutes per pound and when Butch brought in that turkey it looked totally burnt!! It was all shriveled up, Butch thought he ruined Thanksgiving! There was plenty of good meat though the outside was just really crispy:) You didn't ruin Thanksgiving Butch don't worry!!!

And last but not least I got to see Twilight the day before thanksgiving and I'm just not sure what I think about it. It was pretty good but just so cheesy!! But the book was pretty cheesy too but I guess in a good way, if that is possible!! I think I liked it I just want to see it again now that I know what to expect and just try not to be so critical and enjoy it! I think that the Bella girl just looked constipated all the time and you could tell they didn't have a very big budget and well I could go on but I'm sure no one really cares about my opinion on the movie and this could become a really long post. HA

Butch had been coyote hunting that morning and when he got home they took a cute little nap.
Butch was hunting with his cousin Jake and his little 4 year old boy Haiden. Haiden was so excited that his dad let him go with this time, he said they couldn't go home until they got 10 coyotes that day! But I guess they had to settle for just this one:)

CJ just had on some way cute halloween pj's this year. We hung out at home and handed out candy to all the trick or treaters!

Butch's Hunting Trip

Butch has been guiding deer hunters at a ranch in the bookcliffs since Friday and he got home on Wednesday! CJ and her dad were glad to see each other:)

Butch and his cousin Jake were both able to help their hunters find some nice bucks! They had a really good time with Lenny and Mick.

Well she finally made it! We are so happy to have her home she is just the cutest little girl ever. It was a rough time but worth every second!

Catelyn Juanita Lindsay

8 lbs 1 oz 20 1/2 inches

Born at 7:58 am September 17,2008

I went to the doctor Tuesday afternoon and he said that it would be ok to start me because he would be out of town for the weekend and I was dilated to a 2 and it would be fine to get things started that night. So at 6 pm we checked into the hospital and got things started! So this is about how it went!

6pm checked in and went to the room
7pm Dr. Greenwood came and broke my water and they started the pitocin in my IV
11pm Stopped the pitocin because the contractions were too close together and the babys heart rate was a little too high.
12:20 Epidural YEA!! I was finally able to get a little sleep here and there it was fabulous.
2:30am I woke up because I was feeling a little pain on my right side so the anesthetist came and gave me another dose.
3am He came back and I could still feel pain, so he dosed me again and did 3 or 4 more times because the epidural was wearing off (NO MORE YEA)
5:30am I can feel every contraction and there is no more epidural and I was told that I have Tachyphyalxis, which means a rapidly decreasing response to a drug or physiologically active agent after administration of a few doses. Dr. Greenwood checked me and I was only at a 5 after 11 hours of labor.
6:30am The decision was made to have a C-section under general anesthesia.
7:40 am They wheeled me into the O.R. and Butch wasn't allowed to come in since I would be totally out so he kissed me goodbye.
7:58am CJ was born!
8:07 she was taken to the nursery and Butch got to hold her for the 1st time:)
10am I was finally coming out of it and wondering where in the world I was. I couldn't really even open my eyes but I heard the nurses tell me they were going to bring me my baby! They brought her in and held her on my chest for me and let me see her and said in a few minutes they would let Butch come in and be with us.

After all that they took me to my room and we just started getting to know her! We got to come on Friday and things are great!

Some of our Summer

This summer has been really fun and really fast! Between camping and BBQ's and reunions and work and all the day to day stuff it has just gone by so fast! But I guess I'm not complaining because I'm just waiting for September 18th to come around!

This is a fishing trip that turned into a rescue mission!

We got to Salina Resivor and Uncle Ron started making his way to the other side and we all decided to go to the other side well he was just going to meet us over there and it started pouring and he was out in the rain for almost an hour and these nice people let Butch and Danny take their canoe to go rescue Ron! It was actually a really fun day and it turned out to be kinda of funny too! I hope Ron looks back on it and laughs!

Don and Denise hosted a fun BBQ a few weeks ago and the band played and it was great time! Butch even got up and sang!!

Butch was on the Relay for Life commitee this summer and it was an awesome experience. The band played and I even got to cut off a couple ponytails to be donated to Locks for Love!

After 3 Baby Showers little CJ is definately going to be the cutest baby around!! Our family and friends have been so good to us I am so grateful for all the things we have been given.
